HubSpot Freemium

CRM with Breeze AI agents for prospecting, support and content, free tier and paid hubs from $20 per month

HubSpot is a CRM plus marketing, sales and support hubs, and Breeze is its AI layer: agents that write content, qualify inbound leads and close support tickets using the contact record as context. The CRM itself is free; Starter bundles start at $20/month, and Sales Hub Professional runs $100 per seat per month.

What is HubSpot Breeze?

Breeze is not one model but four named pieces: Breeze Agents (prospecting, content, social, customer), Breeze Copilot (an in-app chat for any record), Breeze Intelligence (third-party data enrichment for company and contact fields), and Breeze Studio for building custom agents. It launched in beta during INBOUND 2024 and rolled out through 2025.

The pitch is context. Because the agent sees the deal stage, last email and ticket history, its output reads less like generic copy. That’s also the risk: if your CRM data is messy — duplicates, empty fields, notes pasted into the wrong property — the agent confidently produces nonsense.

Product Features

  • Breeze Copilot — ask “summarize this deal” or “draft a follow-up” on any record. Available across hubs, included on paid seats.
  • Breeze Intelligence — enriches contact and company records with firmographic and technographic data. Billed by credits, roughly 100–1,000 credits/month depending on plan.
  • Content Agent — drafts blog posts and landing page copy for Marketing Hub Pro and above. SEO briefs are decent; publishing workflow still manual.
  • Customer Agent — answers support tickets from the knowledge base, escalates when confidence is low. This is the piece with the clearest ROI.
  • Prospecting Agent — researches target accounts and drafts outreach. Works only as well as your ICP definition.
  • Workflow automation — the classic HubSpot engine, still the reason most teams stay.

Product Highlights

  • The free CRM is the most complete free tier in the category — contacts, deals, tasks, email tracking, no expiry.
  • Customer Agent can resolve a real share of tier-one tickets, cutting response time on routine questions.
  • Everything sits in one data model, so marketing, sales and support see the same record.

Is HubSpot expensive?

Yes, past the free tier. Starter Customer Platform is $20/month per seat. Bundles jump hard: Sales Hub Professional is $100/seat/month, Marketing Hub Professional starts near $890/month at 2,000 contacts. Contact-tier pricing means a 20,000-contact marketing database can push Marketing Hub Pro into four figures monthly.

Where Breeze underdelivers: credit-based Intelligence runs out faster than expected on large databases, and the Content Agent’s drafts need a real editor — it has a habit of writing intros that say nothing. Teams under 10 people usually do fine with Starter; the Professional tier only pays off once you’re running multi-touch sequences and reporting on attribution.

Use Cases

  1. Routing inbound demo requests to the right rep with AI-written summaries.
  2. Auto-resolving password and billing questions before a human sees them.
  3. Enriching a list of 500 leads with company size and tech stack.
  4. Drafting a follow-up email sequence for a stalled pipeline stage.
  5. Building a custom agent in Breeze Studio for internal onboarding questions.

Quick Summary

  • HubSpot Breeze is an AI layer inside HubSpot’s CRM: Copilot, Agents, Intelligence and Studio.
  • Free CRM; Starter at $20/seat/month; Sales Hub Pro at $100/seat/month.
  • Best value is the Customer Agent for support and Copilot for record summaries.
  • Breeze Intelligence is credit-billed and can run out mid-month on large databases.
  • Bad CRM data means bad AI output — cleanup comes first.
