Step 1: Install Plus AI for Google Slides

Open Google Slides and go to Extensions > Add-ons > Get add-ons. Search for “Plus AI” and click Install. Once installed, you’ll see the Plus AI sidebar appear on the right side of your Google Slides window. You can also install the PowerPoint version from the Microsoft Store.

Step 2: Start a New Presentation with AI

Click “Generate with AI” in the Plus AI sidebar. You’ll see two options: “Generate a presentation” (create from scratch) or “Edit a presentation” (enhance existing slides). Select “Generate a presentation.”

Step 3: Enter Your Prompt

In the prompt field, describe what you want to present. Be specific for better results. For example: “Create a 10-slide pitch deck for a SaaS startup that helps small businesses automate their accounting. Include sections on the problem, solution, market size, business model, competitive advantages, team, and funding ask.” The more detail you provide, the better the output.

Step 4: Customize the Settings

Select the number of slides, choose a visual style (professional, creative, minimal, or bold), and optionally upload your brand kit with colors and fonts. Click “Generate” and wait 30-60 seconds for Plus AI to create your deck.

Step 5: Review and Refine

Plus AI will generate a complete slide deck with titles, bullet points, and layout suggestions. Review each slide and use the “Edit with AI” feature to refine individual slides. You can ask Plus AI to “make this slide more concise,” “add a data visualization,” or “restructure the argument flow.” All edits are native Google Slides elements — fully editable.

Step 6: Finalize and Present

Apply your brand colors and logo if you haven’t already. Add any custom images or charts. Use the “Remix” feature to regenerate any slide that doesn’t quite hit the mark. Once satisfied, your presentation is ready to present, share, or export as PDF.

• Start with a detailed prompt and iterate — it’s faster than starting with a vague prompt and making many manual edits
• Use the “Insert AI slide” feature to add new slides between existing ones without disrupting the flow
• Save your brand kit settings so future presentations are automatically on-brand from the first generation
