How to Use Nano Banana 3 for Ecommerce Edits Without Redoing Shoots
Most ecommerce studios reshoot for a color variant or a new background. Nano Banana 3 can skip that. Here is a production workflow, its limits,…
Google's third-edition text-to-image and image-editing model, known for consistent characters and precise edits.
Nano Banana 3 is Google’s image generation and editing model — the follow-up in the line people first met as Gemini’s native image tool — and its headline strength is editing the image you already have instead of generating a new one.
It is a multimodal image model in the Gemini family, reachable through the Gemini app, Google AI Studio, and the Gemini API. You prompt it in natural language and it both generates fresh images and edits uploaded ones: swapping backgrounds, changing outfits, adding text, or keeping a character consistent across multiple scenes.
The Gemini app has a free daily quota; heavy use pushes you to a paid Google plan. The API is pay-per-image. Outputs carry SynthID watermarks, and there are content restrictions on real public figures.
It is the right tool for marketers who edit existing assets and need consistency. If you need raw artistic styles and fine texture control, dedicated diffusion tools still give more knobs.
