Granola Freemium

What is Granola?

Granola is a localized, privacy-focused AI meeting assistant built to eliminate note-taking fatigue. Instead of injecting noisy “AI bots” into Zoom, Google Meet, or MS Teams, Granola runs quietly on your computer to capture system audio, generating hyper-accurate transcripts and highly customized, actionable meeting summaries.

Product Features

• Silent Background Recording: Captures crisp system-level audio during any web call without requiring an external participant bot.
• Template-Driven Notes: Formats meeting summaries based on user-defined structures (e.g., Scrum updates, sales calls, design feedback).
• Highlight & Annotation: Allows users to bookmark key moments during the call to ensure the AI prioritizes those sections.

Product Characteristics

• Privacy-First Architecture: Runs locally on your device, ensuring sensitive client conversations are kept secure.
• Action-Oriented Output: Filters out generic small talk and focuses intensely on next steps, decisions, and action items.
• Seamless Exporting: Integrates with Notion, Slack, and email clients to quickly share summaries with colleagues.

Application Scenarios

• Client Meetings: Capturing complex requirements quietly without distracting the client with an active recording bot.
• Weekly Standups: Transcribing quick updates and generating a neat task list for the team’s Slack channel.
• One-on-One Feedback: Keeping full focus on the conversation while Granola drafts the review summary in the background.
